ABOUT
I grew up in Glendale, AZ as a city girl who loved being with friends, playing soccer/softball and had a love for anything with art. I started learning about computer graphics my junior/senior year of high school in 1997. Before I finished college, I had moved up from a CS rep to a graphic designer at AlphaGraphics. Upon graduating in 1999 from Glendale Community College with my Associates in Arts, I worked for a company, ATG Productions, for ten years. I learned so much from ATG, including how to develop websites. During this time I married my high school sweet-heart and we completed our family with two kids. After having our first child, my life changed as I my eyes were opened to learning about Jesus Christ. Since then I have not looked back, only forward. In 2005 I created CEO Graphics to freelance for family, friends, churches and small businesses.
In 2008, I decided to take a little break from the workforce for about four years, and I opened an in-home preschool called Crafty Critters Club. I was able to utilize my design skills creating curriculum for the learning activities and crafts. At the same time I was raising and teaching my children as well as other children. One of the best moments in my design career came in 2011, when I co-founded loveSTRONG ministries with three of my preschool mom parents. loveSTRONG ministries is a ministry for women to connect with others, develop their relationship with Christ and be inspired to "be love" to others. Our team works together to have one retreat and conference each year, to engage and teach women. I am in charge of website updates and creating design material for the events. Once my youngest went off to kindergarten in 2012, I went back to work for a Christian business that was in the process of launching their company directory online. I was in charge of managing the new members in the directory. I also created print materials for marketing and event presentations. I started back with CEO Graphics and had a few clients. In 2013, I was drawn back into the teaching atmosphere first as a substitute aide and then landed a full time job for the following school year. As a child I always wanted to work around children. Later, came the love for art. I spent a year working with twenty-four, first graders, helping the students stay engaged in their learning activities. I was able to bring my love for art into the classroom with craft projects and learning goals. Here I am today 2015, eighteen years later from where I started in computer graphics and I can honestly say I love what I do! I have grown over the years and no matter what path I am on, the Lord is always with me. From design, to teaching, back to design, then back again to teaching, and at last again back to design. I take one day at a time and look forward to how He chooses to use me each day. I look forward to see how CEO Graphics will help others impact the world with their business needs. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV |
